Spicy Fish Fry 2

Spicy fish fried in the different south indian style.
Preparation Time : 5 mins

Cooking Time : 15-20 mins

Serves : 3-4

Ingredients:
  • Any White Fish - 1/2 kg cut into 2-3 cm thick slices
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Crushed pepper - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 4 tblsp
  • Crushed garlic - 2-3 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt -as required

Method:
  1. Wash and soak the fish in turmeric powder, crushed pepper, crushed garlic, lemon juice and salt for about 10-15 mins.
  2. Heat a shallow frying pan on the stove and add half the oil. If the fish has got small bones, then it is better to deep fry.
  3. After a minute, add as many pieces of fish on the frying pan.
  4. Fry for about 4-5 mins on a medium heat on one side.
  5. Turn them over and fry for about 4-5 mins on a medium heat on the other side.
  6. Remove them from the pan.
  7. Repeat the above process for any remaining fish.​​
