Fried Boiled Egg

Indian way of making a spicy boiled egg.
Preparation Time : 5 mins

Cooking Time : 10-15 mins

Serves : 3-4

Ingredients:
  • Eggs medium - 4
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp (optional)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Coriander leaves chopped - 1/2 tblsp to garnish
  • Oil - 3 tblsp
  • Water - required to boil the eggs

Method:

  1. Boil the eggs for about 8-10 mins.
  2. Let it cool and remove the shell.
  3. Cut each egg into half.
  4. Heat a frying pan on a stove. Add oil.
  5. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste and a pinch of salt.
  6. Put the yolk side of boiled egg halves to the pan.
  7. Fry on both sides.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
