Prawn fry

Prawn fry is a side dish made with prawns and Indian spices.
Preparation Time : 5 mins

Cooking Time : 10 mins

Serves : 5-6

Ingredients:
  • Prawn- 500g
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp levelled
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp for medium spicy or 2 tsp for very spicy
  • Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil - 5-6 tblsp
  • Coriander leaves - few
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp (optional)
  • Salt - to taste

Method:
  1. Chop coriander leaves.
  2. Combine prawns, turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, salt and ginger-garlic paste and leave it aside for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on a medium heat.
  4. Add all the prawns, stir and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove the prawns from the pan and switch off the heat.
  6. Sprinkle over the lemon juice if you want.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Notes:
