Carrot Halwa

Carrot Halwa prepared this way can be served as a yummy dessert.
Preparation Time : 10-15 mins

Cooking Time : 15-20 mins

Serves : 5-6

Ingredients:
  • Carrots - 750g
  • Sugar - 200g
  • Milk - 150ml
  • Ghee/Butter - 80g
  • Blanched and sliced Almonds - 20g or 20-22 for decorating

Method:
  1. Shred the carrots finely.
  2. Cook them with half the milk given for about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan and add Ghee/butter.
  4. Add cooked carrots,sugar and rest of the milk.
  5. Stir it until it becomes halwa consistency.
  6. Decorate it with nuts.
