Idli powder
 
Idli powder taste good with oil for Idlis.
Cooking Time : upto 5 mins

Serves : 5-6

Ingredients:
  • Urid dhal - 1 tblsp
  • Channa dhal - 1 tblsp
  • Toor dhal - 1 tblsp
  • Dry red chillies - 6-7
  • Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Garlic - 1 clove (optional)
  • Curry leaves - 7-8
  • Salt - to taste

Method:
  1. Heat a wider frying pan.
  2. Add all the ingredients and fry until they become golden brown. Keep stirring to stop them getting burnt.
  3. Remove them from heat and let it cool down for about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Grind them into coarse powder.

Notes:
Serve it for Idlis.
