Ingredients :

 

    1 banana
    140g/5oz almonds
    45g/1.5oz pitted dates
    3tsp. cacao powder
    125g/4.5oz almond butter (or any other type of nut butter)

    Optional toppings: chopped hazelnuts, blueberry powder, ground almonds, chia seeds.


Method :
  1. Place the almonds in your food processor and pulse until finely ground.
  2. Add the rest of the truffle ingredients to the food processor and pulse until you reach a thick paste consistency.
  3. Roll 1 teaspoon of the mixture at a time into small balls then roll them in your choice of toppings.
  4. Freeze for 1 hour.
  5. Before consuming, let the bites defrost at room temperature for around 10 minutes.
