Fried Green Beans

Green Beans can be served as a good side for any western meal.

Ingredients :

 

  • Thin Green Beans - 300g
  • Water - as per requirement
  • Salt - to taste
  • Crushed pepper - to taste(optional)
  • Butter - 1 tsp or 5g


Method :
  1. Wash and trim the head and tail and keep it whole.
  2. Take a pan with adequant amount of water, pinch of salt and boil it.
  3. Add the beans and cook it crunchy. Remove it from heat before it becomes soft. Drain the water. You could also steam the vegetable instead of boiling it to preserve the nutrients.
  4. Heat a shallow frying pan on a medium-high heat and add the butter.
  5. Add the vegetable and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve it hot.


Notes : It can be served immediately after boiling it if you are health conscious.
