Fried salmon

Fried salmon taste very good as the aromatic flavous of lemon juice and garlic were added.

Ingredients :

 

  • Salmon fillets - 500g
  • Garlic - 3 big cloves - crushed
  • Lemon juice - 2 tblsp
  • Ground pepper - 1 tsp
  • Sunflower oil - 3 tblsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chopped parseley leaves - 1-2 tsp (optional)


Method :
  1. Combine crushed garlic, lemon juice, ground pepper and salt to make a marinade.
  2. Marinate the fish with the above marinade.
  3. Leave it aside for about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Heat a shallow frying pan on the stove.
  5. Add oil. When the oil is hot enough, fry the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side on a medium heat. Cover it with a netted lid or any lid and let it ajar to let the steam out.
  6. Place them on a serving dish.
  7. Garnish with parsley leaves.


Notes : Salmon can be replaced by any solid white fish. This dish goes well with mashed or boiled potatoes, white sauce and Fried green beans / courgette stirfry.
