Ingredients :

 

  • Tomato - 3
  • Onion - 1 small
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Oil - 2 tblsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tblsp
  • Tomato Puree - 1 tsp (optional)
  • Water - as required
  • Salt - to taste

Spice powders:

  • Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp

Ingredients to be roasted and ground:

  • Grated coconut - 1½ tblsp
  • Fennel seeds - 1/2 tblsp


Method :
  1. Roast grated coconut and fennel seeds and grind them into a smooth paste with little water.
  2. Chop the onion and tomatoes. Wash and chop the coriander leaves.
  3. Heat a pan and add oil.
  4. Add onion and fry for few minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes and green chilli; fry for about 5-6 minutes.
  6. Add all the spice powders and the ground mix. Fry them for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add water and salt; cook for about 8-10 minutes.
  8. Garnish with curry leaves/coriander leaves.
  9. Tomato Korma is ready to be served.

Notes : Add 2-3 eggs and let it cook for about 5-6 minutes to make the curry taste better. Other method is beat up 2-3 eggs, add it the curry in the end and swith off after 1-2 minutes.
